New and Improved: The FR25F C6 Cup Corvette Flow Form Replica Wheel Returns

Around the early-to-mid 2010s, there was buzz surrounding late-model C6 Corvettes, partially due to the classic 10-spoke “Cup” wheels. First introduced on select 2012 and 2013 models, these wheels quickly became one of the most recognizable OEM designs from that era, which still holds true today.

With that, one of our most requested wheels in recent years, the FR25 C6 Cup Corvette Replica, is making a comeback. Appreciated for its versatility, the wheel has built a loyal following in the C6 community. We’ve brought the wheel back with a very slight design refresh and upgraded it to the FR25F with flow-form construction for added strength and lightweight capabilities that Corvette owners can expect.

The History Behind the C6 “Cup” Wheels

The 10-spoke Corvette “Cup” wheels were introduced to the public with the 2012 Corvette Centennial Edition. Later, they were carried over as optional or standard equipment on the 2012–2013 C6 Grand Sport, Z06, and ZR1. With a design inspired by racing wheels, early iterations of the wheel were locked into special “cup” tires made by Michelin. It was only available with Cup tires, there wasn’t any other option.

You could only get them through the Z06 and ZR1, and both wheel setups were set on Michelin Cup tires throughout.

But things slowly started to shift in 2012. If you ordered a Centennial Edition Z06 or ZR1, you could get the same black “Cup” wheels paired with non-Cup tires, which was very much a first. Then in 2013, with the introduction of the 427, the Cup wheels really started to take off. There were three versions in the lineup and a lot more of them on the road. Since the Cup wheels weren’t entirely tied to Michelin Cup tires anymore, it became harder to distinguish certain C6 setups.

The 10-spoke “Cup” wheels are still a highly sought after wheel. Appreciated and loved by Corvette owners over a decade later, they’ve earned their place as one of the most iconic wheel options to date.
